Our Strategic Approach

We apply extensive strategies in specific regions, employing inventive methods to encourage community engagement in tackling challenges and enhancing welfare in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Concentrating on at-risk youth groups labeled “Kuluna,” we aim to reshape perceptions by referring to them as “#Bana Ya Wenze.” Our pioneering approach prioritizes collaboration amongst other groups we work with which we call #Mama Ya Wenze and #Papa Ya Wenze to communally drive a self-reliant income generation.

Our Actionable Approach

Marketplace for a cause
We engage in grant writing, donation solicitation, and fellowship applications, yet the vast majority—99%—of our requests are declined, unapproved, or placed on a waiting list. Not to be demoralized we propagate a self-sustaining funding mentality rather than passively seeking support that may not come in time, we take proactive steps to harness our creativity, producing or reselling recycled, repurposed, and reused items. The proceeds from these sales serve as budgetary support for our initiatives.
